The Pandora Inn is in such a lovely setting, it’s a shame to only visit by car. Our car park is quite small and in the summer does get very crowded. So why not make a trip to the Pandora a real day out and leave your car at home and visit us by boat, bicycle or on foot!
The Pandora Inn is accessible by water via our own mooring pontoon directly outside the Inn. There are many slipways and access points along the creek, including the popular Loe Beach, which is approximately 2 miles from The Pandora inn over water.
For useful, up-to-date information, visit the Fal River website. Their map is available here. There are also a number of private water taxis in the area. The Falmouth Water Taxi provides service to and from the Pandora. All details and prices are on the website.
St Mawes Mini Cruises and Water Taxi has a purpose built eight passenger RIB and goes to various destination, so have a look at their website.
Remember, the tide will affect when the water taxis run so do always check. We have a tide app on the home page of the website, so you can check the high and low water levels, and the weather forecast too!
Depending on how adventurous you’re feeling, there are various start points from which to cycle. A nice short route for those feeling less energetic, would be to begin at Mylor bridge car park or for a longer cycle, you could start from between Penryn and Falmouth. Have a look at our map and details on the website.
After a leisurely lunch and a much-needed drink you can take either the long or short routes back, depending on how much you have indulged and how much you feel you need to cycle off!
We commissioned an outdoor writer to create some circular walks for us. All the walks start somewhere other than the Pandora Inn itself, so parking won’t be a problem at busy times. You will then arrive at the Pandora as part of a circular walk – allowing you to build up a thirst and an appetite along the way! You will find walks leaflets available for free in the bar or you can download a copy from out website here.Share
