Visiting Yachtsmen
Yachtsmen and their crews are very welcome to tie up at the 140 foot pontoon which dries out for three hours either side of low water and enjoy all the facilities including hot showers, fresh water supplies and public telephone. There is an overnight mooring fee, but this can be reclaimed against meals in the Upper Deck Restaurant.
By Sea
Head North from Mylor Creek, keeping ½ mile or so offshore. Entrance to Restronguet is South of the two black and yellow pole beacons which mark Carrick Carlys Rock. The deep pool at the entrance does not dry out and is occupied by private moorings. You may prefer to anchor to the east of the many moorings in the pool itself and row inshore.
By Land
Coming from Truro direction on the A39, take first left at the bridge at Perranarworthal. Wind your way up the hill; reaching the top, turn left. Bear left almost immediately and keep straight on for approximately ½ mile and then bear left at the next fork. At crossroads turn left to descend to the Pandorra Inn. Coming from the direction of Falmouth on the A39 – turn right at Penryn, signposted Mylor, up past St. Gluvias Church. Drive through Mylor and straight up the hill past the crossroads. Carry on across and follow the rather steep road down to Restronguet.
