Keeping it green!

When we restored the Pandora after last year’s fire, we worked hard to put everything back as it was… except in one area. When it came to sustainability, we made huge changes and have made the Pandora as ‘green’ as we can.

All light fittings are new and fitted with either low energy or LED lighting.

Almost all commercial equipment is new and of higher energy efficiency rating.

We now have waterless urinals and movement-sensor taps in our gents’ toilets and eco-friendly hand driers in both toilets.

We have further improved our recycling by separating out food waste for composting. We also recycle cardboard, paper, plastic, metal and glass and have, overall, reduced our landfill by over 60%.

And thanks to all our customers who arrive by ferry, water taxi, boat or on foot - rather than by car - they help keep our carbon footprint down too.
