The Pandora Inn has won a Bronze Award in the Tourism Pub of the Year category at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2015 Ceremony.
The Bronze Award is a great achievement and recognises Excellence in Tourism in England. The team from the Pandora Inn was presented with their Bronze Award at a glittering Awards Ceremony which was held on 11 May 2015 at The Sage, Gateshead.
“We are absolutely delighted!” said Steve Bellman who, with John Milan has been at the helm of the Pandora since 1999. “This means we have been judged the third best tourism pub in the whole country! This is a massive achievement for the Pandora team led by managers Lester and Catherine Croft.”
Commenting on the Award James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said “We received hundreds of applications this year of an extremely high standard. Winning a Bronze Award is a considerable achievement, especially against such tough competition. The Pandora Inn is now ranked as one of the top three businesses in their category for excellence in England and I warmly congratulate them on this achievement”.
South West England again came away with more awards than any other region in this year’s awards ceremony with 19 Awards overall including 3 Gold awards, 4 Silvers and 4 Bronzes.
